I’m Dana Samuelson. I’ve been a professional numismatist since 1980, and in 1998 I founded American Gold Exchange. For nearly a decade early in my career, I was a personal protege of James U. Blanchard III, the man most responsible for re-legalizing private gold ownership in the United States. That lineage shaped how I think about gold: not as a trade, but as a way to hold real wealth outside a fragile financial system.
